Airborne LVC

Elbit Systems is a world leader in airborne Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) training solutions. Our advanced products are in operational service on fighters, trainers, helicopters and other tactical platforms, both Eastern and Western, flown by the world’s leading air forces.
Our solutions include the Embedded Virtual Avionics (EVA™) and In-Flight Electronic Warfare Simulator (IFEWS™), as well as the world’s most advanced Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI). All of these systems are equipped with our leading training data-link solution.
These revolutionary solutions provide maximum training effectiveness and unparalleled cost-efficiency.

EVA can be installed on basic or advanced trainer aircraft, transforming the aircraft into a virtual advanced fighter. EVA maintains the hourly costs of a trainer while enabling the trainees to operate advanced systems, such as virtual radar, optical sensors and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, as well as virtual air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons.

For fighter aircraft, EVA packs every flight hour with the highest possible operational value. The systems allows you to train with virtual ground and airborne threats while operating virtual weapons, sensors and counter measures, all to provide the most realistic battle scenario while actually saving the cost of opposition forces, red-air, ranges, etc.

A full embedded training experience can be achieved using the Targo™ Helmet Mounted Avionics (HMA) in conjunction with EVA  – providing a closer to reality training experience with representation of all virtual entities on the HMA’s visor.
