Unified connectivity for manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T)

E-LynX™ UxS enables direct, secure communication between soldiers and unmanned systems through a unified tactical network, supporting real-time control, data exchange and extended operational reach.

E-LynX™ UxS is built on Elbit Systems’ battle-proven Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology and integrates with the E-LynX™ SR soldier radio to create a resilient tactical communications ecosystem. The system connects ground forces, unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) within a flexible Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), enabling continuous voice, data, video and control communication across all platforms.

By functioning as an aerial relay node, the E-LynX™ UxS module extends communication range and allows soldiers to directly command and control unmanned platforms from a single radio interface.

This unified MUM-T architecture improves situational awareness, supports faster decision-making and ensures reliable connectivity in complex operational environments, while reducing soldier load and increasing mission effectiveness.

System Overview

A multi-channel, multi-band tactical radio providing ground connectivity and serving as a communication hub for voice, data, video and control traffic between manned and unmanned platforms.

Unified connectivity

The network links ground forces, aerial assets and robotic platforms within a flexible Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), reducing soldier load while enhancing situational awareness, operational efficiency and combat readiness.

E-LynX UxS

A communications module installed on unmanned platforms that functions as an aerial relay node for transmitting data, video and control between those platforms and ground forces. The unit enables direct soldier control of unmanned systems while extending network connectivity.
